Buzz Foto Paparazzi Agency Recruiting Experienced Photojournalists

Los Angeles, CA, November 17, 2008 — Buzz Foto, LLC, www.buzzfoto.com, a leading paparazzi agency, announces that it will meet corporate growth plans through a new direction in hiring objectives. A recent statement from cofounder Brad Elterman shares that the company will focus recruitment efforts to attract the best experienced photojournalists. “We started the agency in 2006 with a talented, yet untrained, pool of photographers: we handed them a camera and showed them the ropes. With the economy as it is and the market becoming even more competitive, editors are now demanding iconic paparazzi imagery that goes beyond just a mundane photograph of Lindsay Lohan strolling down the street. They want provocative photos that stand out.”

This full day photo education and adventure program features an eclectic mix of venues, assignments and participants. Over the course of a day professional photographers will trek to various sites around the city to capture four different shoot assignments. At each stop a lead photographer will outline the challenge and provide tips and tricks for best capture.

“The Renegade City Shoots events provide a venue for photographers to not only learn from four outstanding educators, but from one another,” said Young. “The day offers educational variety, plus engaging and even slightly quirky shoot assignments, with a mission to tap the essence of what’s happening in that host city.”

Lion, who leads a street fashion assignment, said, “As a photographer one of the most valuable things I can do to further my career is to spend time shooting side-by-side, learning and interacting with other pros. Renegade brings together an inspiring mix of talented shooters from all sorts of backgrounds and puts forth great challenges; it asks photographers to shoot in environments and to shoot subjects and situations they would probably not normally experience.”

Renegade Photo Shoots produces photography education and adventure sessions in major cities around the U.S. Objectives of the program include inspiration and education, plus promotion of imagery produced that reflects the flavor of a host city.

According to one Cisco volunteer, the cool hotspot during the biennial Zero One Festival in San Jose was RainDance.

“RainDance is an interactive sound installation by electronic media artist Paul DeMarinis. Jets of water modulated by audio signals carry sound vibrations that are inaudible to the human ear. The sounds cannot be heard until the water jet is intercepted by a large umbrella. The sound is then decoded and resonated from the surface of the umbrella. The umbrella thus becomes a new and different kind of loudspeaker.

Diverse electronic and acoustic material is modulated onto the streams so that individuals strolling along under the water jets can listen to, mix, modify, and sequence a variety of sonic material, ranging from musical standards to rhythmic and electronic music.”

The Video Diaries of Molotov Alva
And on a second playbill of non-reality, filmmaker Douglas Gayeton’s short film My Second Life: The Video Diaries of Molotov Alva trooped through avatar dominion at Camera 12.

Crafted entirely in the virtual world of Second Life, Molotov leaves his “straightworld” life behind and travels to new vistas, encountering everything from Furries to Cyberpunks to Neo-Luddites to Sex Slaves to the King of the Hobos, Orhalla Zander. Zander becomes Molotov’s seer and helps him find Abilgail, the creator and the meaning of life. http://01sj.org/
