Rules and Regulations
Anyone may participate in the Renegade ‘Not Normal’ photo contest. Entries are limited to one per photographer per week of the contest duration (four weeks = four entries), July 9 to August 6, 2008. Photos taken with any camera are eligible. Photographer credit will be given and photographer will retain full copyright. The winner will be selected and notified no later than August 30, 2008.

Photo Requirements
• High image resolution JPEG files no more than 500 pixels wide
• File size no larger than 300K at a resolution of 300 ppi
• The photo must have been taken by the person submitting the image file
• Do not watermark or place any other distinguishing marks (i.e. name, copyright) on the image
• Photos that have previously won another photo contest are not eligible
• Any questionable subject, theme or messaging within the image file will not be considered
• Photographer acknowledges that they have sufficient written permission of any recognizable locations or persons appearing in the photograph. Failure to do so falls upon the photographer and not Renegade or its staff
• Edited or manipulated image files are acceptable
• Renegade reserves the right to publish photograph submissions online
• Renegade reserves the right to contact the submitter to seek approval for additional publication beyond the Renegade Web site and/or blog
• NOTE: photos thought to be not in compliance with the above criteria may be removed from consideration without the entrant being notified

Details to include with each submission
• Photo title
• Photographer’s name and city
• Contact information email and phone (will not be shared)
• A sentence about the photographer
• Location or situation, gear used, environmental conditions, background for how the image was obtained including anecdotes
• Why this is ‘Not Normal’
• Statement ascertaining that a model release was obtained, if applicable

All photos entered will be evaluated by a panel of not normal judges who will see the photographer’s name listed in the blog post.

Renegade reserves the right to display on the Renegade blog and/or Renegade Web site outstanding examples that supports the theme ‘Not Normal.’ Image files will not be altered and a photo credit will be provided. Further, Renegade retains the option to contact select photographers to request permission to forward their image(s) and contact information to members of the media interested in running news and/or feature articles that support Renegade and/or ‘Not Normal’ contest.

By submitting images to the Renegade ‘Not Normal’ photo contest, I agree that I have read and understand all rules. I hereby certify that the photo I am about to submit is my original work and has never been copyrighted or, if copyrighted, that I am the sole copyright owner. I understand that my image may be published on the Internet as my original work and under my own copyright. I understand that my submission will be reviewed before it is accepted for the contest. If my photo is offensive (pornographic, racially, ethically or ethnically in poor taste, or may be deemed offensive) it will not be considered.

Renegade Privacy Policy
Renegade does not sell contest participants’ email addresses or personal information.

Prize Distribution
Renegade will attempt to contact prize winner(s) by email and/or telephone. If the winner does not respond and claim the prize within 10 days, the prize will be forfeited. Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state or local taxes, tariffs or import duty fees.

Submission of each entry signifies that all requirements have been met as detailed above.
